Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan Vinil Asetat Monomer dengan kapasitas 68.000 ton/tahun direncanakan didirikan pada tahun 2022 berlokasi di kawasan industri Krakatau daerah Cilegon, Banten dengan luas area 4,25 Ha. Proses pembuatan Vinil Asetat Monomer ini mengacu pada US Patent No. 9,573,877 B2. Bahan baku dari pembuatan Vinil Asetat Monomer terdiri dari asam asetat, etilen dan oksigen. Reaksi berlangsung pada reaktor Fixed Bed Multitube dengan menggunakan katalis Palladium pada temperatur 150oC dan tekanan 6 atm. Pabrik ini akan didirikan perusahaan berbentuk perseroan terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line and Staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur Utama dengan total karyawan 110 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi pabrik Vinil Asetat Monomer ini layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut  Total Capital Investment (TCI) : US$ 59,371,601.52  Total Production Cost (TPC) : US$ 94,017,076.51  Total Penjualan per Tahun (SP) : US$ 146,703,014.77  Annual Cash Flow : US$ 44,561,039.82  Pay Out Time : 2 tahun  Rate of Return : 66,00%  Break Even Point : 33,41%  ServiceLife : 11 tahun
