Abstract
This research aims at determining the role of Civic Education Teachers in Forming Students' Civic Literacy in the content of Digital Literacy Material in National Diversity at SMP Negeri 20 Palembang. This research used a qualitative approach using case study method. The sampling technique used in this research was a purposive sampling technique with 3 informants and 2 member checks. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity test used credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests. The data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion presentation. The study that the pancasila education teacher was instrumental in establishing civic literacy is evident in 1) habituating the creation of an avid character through reading activities before the start of the study, father-daughter character through compulsory singing. And the character of tolerance through mutual respect of friends in class 2). Cultivate curiosity through the stimulus and the cheerful bhineka lantern program 3). Create a community-dance culture (collaboration) with small group discussion 4). Learners a motivator as a stimulus in learning process 5). Encourage the student's to be a good problem solver through the method "the 5 whys".
