Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of physical fitnesss of south Sumatra do inkanas karate athletes at the fakri dojo.This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a survey method through physical fitness tests submitted to South Sumatra do Inkanas karate athletes at the Fakri dojo. The population in this study were South Sumatra do Inkanas karate athletes at the Fakri dojo. The sample in this study amounted to 40 people. Data collection was carried out using the following test instruments: strength components using sit ups, endurance tests using the pacer test, speed using the squad trush, flexibility using the v sit and reach test and BMI (body mass index), namely measuring body weight and height. . Based on the results of research and data analysis from surveys conducted by researchers, it shows that the physical condition test results of South Sumatra do Inkanas karate athletes at the Fakri dojo are in the very good category with an overall score of 10.The implication of this research is that the level of physical fitness uses the TKPN test (Indonesian Student Fitness Test), to determine the level of physical fitness.
