Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti serta menjelaskan bagaimana pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan parasocial relationship terhadap kesehatan mental. Sampel penelitian ini ialah sebanyak 84 orang dari fandom ARMY di Grup Whatsapp "BTS World". Dalam penelitian ini teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan ialah Simple Random sampling serta penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwasanya komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental yaitu dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar (0.467), t-statistic (3.707> 1.96), dan p-value (0.000 <0.05). Pada variabel parasocial relationship terhadap kesehatan mental juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan dengan nilai koefisien jalur sebesar (0.296), 1- statistic (3.608 1.96), dan p-value (0.000 < 0.05). Kemudian terdapat R-Square dengan nilai 0.385 untuk pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan parasocial relationship terhadap kesehatan mental juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan atau dengan kata lain berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kesehatan mental.
