Abstract
The Objective of this study was to examine the effects of job training and the physical work environment on the performance of the employees in the administrative and general functional sub-division at the Central General Hospital (RSUP) DR. Rivai Abdullah with motivation as an intervening variable. The population of this study was all of the employees of the administrative and functional sub-divisions, 120 participants in total, at the Central General Hospital (RSUP) DR. Rivai Abdullah Banyuasin, and the sampel was taken using saturated sampling so that the entire population of 120 participants were taken as the saampel. The analysis techniqueused was multivariate analysis using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of the program Smart PLS-4. The result of the analysis show that job training, work environment, and work motivation had a positive and significant effects on the performances. Job Training had a positive and significant effect on work motivation, while work environment had no significant effect on work motivation. work training had a positive and significant effect on performance through work motivation, Whereas work environment does not have a significant effect on performance through work motivation.
