Abstract

Penelitian ini berkaitan dengan penyelesaian atas permasalahan konsumen dalam jual beli secara online barang preloved melalui aplikasi Shopee. Penelitian ini dibuat bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk dan proses perlindungan konsumen dalam transaksi jual beli online barang preloved melalui perantara aplikasi Shopee. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian yuridis normatif, dengan metode deskriptif analisi. Peneliti mengangkat 2 (dua) rumusan masalah yaitu bentuk dan proses perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen atas permasalahan yang terjadi hingga bentuk dan proses sanksi yang diberikan kepada pelaku usaha. Bentuk kebijakan serta regulasi yang dilaksanankan oleh Perusahaan Shopee sebagai salah satu e-commerce terpercaya di Asia, dapat menciptakan bentuk implementasi UUPK Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 dalam setiap pelaksanaanya sebagai perlindungan hukum preventif serta represif dalam bentuk sanksi berupa penangguhan hingga sanksi pidana kepada setiap pelaku usaha yang melakukan kelalaian dalam pemenuhan hak seorang konsumen.
