Abstract

Indonesia memiliki lahan rawa yang luasnya kurang lebih mencapai 33 juta hektar, yang terdiri dari rawa pasang surut dan rawa non pasang surut atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah rawa lebak, luas lahan pasang surut mencapai 20 juta hektar dan luas lahan rawa lebak yang mencapai 13 juta hektar. Lahan rawa pasang surut termasuk ke dalam lahan marjinal. Lahan marjinal ini dicirikan oleh tanah dan lingkungan fisik bermasalah antara lain kondisi tata air, fisik, mekanik tanah, kimia, kesuburan tanah dan virulensi hama dan penyakit tanaman. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei tingkat detail skala 1:10.000 pada luasan areal penelitian 16 Ha. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Grid setiap titik sampel berjarak 50 m. Satu petak tersier dengan luasan 16 Ha dan diambil 5 sampel disetiap petakan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Nilai Bobot Isi pada lahan penelitian tergolong rendah dengan nilai 0,75 – 0,79 g cm-3 , Kelas tekstur pada lahan penelitian tergolong lempung dan lempung berpasir, dan nilai Ruang pori total pada lahan penelitian bernilai 70 – 71 %. Nilai pH pada lahan penelitian tergolong masam dengan nilai 4,00 – 4,26 pH H2O dan 3,60 - 3,75 pH KCl, nilai P-Tersedia pada tanah bernilai 4,651 – 12,093 ppm tergolong rendah dan sangat rendah, nilai N pada lahan bernilai 0,2 – 0,14 % tergolong rendah dan sangat rendah, nilai C – Organik pada lahan penelitian bernilai 2,143 – 4,871 % tergolong sedang dan tinggi. Kata Kunci : Lahan rawa pasang surut, sifat fisik dan kimia tanah.
