Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine of the student mathematical communication skills in using method Thingking Aload Pair Problem Solving (TAPPS) at Grade VII SMP N 9 Palembang. The method used in this research is descriptive. Subjects of the research were Grade VII.4 students of SMP N 9 Palembang for academic year 2015/2016, amount to 30 students. Data collection technigue was a test. Test is used to determine of description of the written communication skills of students. Based on the results of research found that the communication skills of students in mathematics learning in TAPPS for written communication is good with the average value 66,82.
