Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial pada zaman sekarang menjadi alat bermanfaat bagi LSL untuk mengekspresikan diri, membangun komunitas dan mengakses informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Cross-Sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu observasional analitik. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini meliputi analisis univariat, bivariat, dan multivariat. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 164 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 4 variabel yang ada hubungan dengan penggunaan media kencan pada komunitas LSL di Kota Sumatera Selatan yaitu variabel orientasi seksual (p value = 0,003), tingkat keterbukaan (p value = 0,007), status hubungan (p value = 0,033), pengalaman komunitas (p value = 0,034). Variabel yang paling dominan dengan penggunaan media kencan pada komunitas LSL di Sumatera Selatan yaitu variabel orientasi seksual (p value = 0,003). Menggunakan media kencan dengan bijak, promosi kesehatan.
