Abstract

Fatimah Lutfirawati; Dibimbing oleh Imelda Gernauli Purba, S.KM., M.Kes Determinan Kejadian Hipertensi Pada Petani Penyemprot Pestisida Di Desa Kerinjing Dan Desa Gunung Agung, Kecamatan Dempo Utara, Kota Pagaralam xv, 80 halaman, 30 tabel, 3 gambar, 8 lampiran ABSTRAK Penggunaan pestisida secara tidak terkendali akan mempengaruhi kualitas lingkungan dan menimbulkan masalah kesehatan bagi pengguna. Keracunan pestisida berakibat pada terganggunya kesehatan, salah satunya adalah hipertensi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kejadian hipertensi pada petani penyemprot pestisida di Desa Kerinjing dan Desa Gunung Agung, Kecamatan Dempo Utara, Pagaralam. Penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner serta dokumentasi. Responden sebanyak 120 orang merupakan petani penyemprot yang ditentukan secara purposive random sampling. Data di analisis secara univariat, bivariat dan multivariat untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat hasil uji statististik Chi Square. Hasil univariat menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi petani penyemprot pestisida yang mengalami hipertensi sebesar 39,2% dan yang tidak mengalami hipertensi sebesar 60,8%. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan variabel hubungan tidak signifikan dengan kejadian hipertensi adalah pengetahuan (P- value 0,511), masa kerja (P-value 0,969), teknik penyemprotan (P-value 0,525), lama penyemprotan (P-value 0,260), jenis kelamin (P-value 0,356), kebiasaan merokok (P-value 0,791). Sedangkan variabel yang terdapat hubungan signifikan dengan kejadian hipertensi yaitu tingkat pendidikan (p-value 0,027), usia ((p-value 0,025), kelengkapan alat pelindung diri (p-value 0,007), jumlah jenis pestisida (p-value 0,005). Kejadian hipertensi pada petani penyemprot pestisida dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh variabel lama penyemprotan, kelengkapan APD, dan jumlah jenis pestisida. Disarankan agar petani penyemprot tidak mencampurkan lebih dari 2 jenis pestisida. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, pestisida, petani Kepustakaan : 35 (2008-2023)
