Abstract

This experiment purposed to know the influence of organic fertilizer for increasing Aloe vera L. plant growing. The experiment has been done from Mei to September 2007 at Faculty of Agriculture experiment, Sriwijaya University. The experiment used a group of Randomized Block Design Method, vanous that consist of six treatments and four replications, there by number of unit was 24, each of the unit contained for plants so whole of unit was 96 plants. The treatment consist of 4 kg/plant hole of chicken dirt fertilizer, 4 kg/plant hole of goat’s dirt fertilizer, 4 kg/plant hole of cow’s dirt fertilizer, 4 kg/plant hole of water hyacinth bokashi, and 4 kg/plant hole rubbish of a plant of Uncaria gambir. The experiment showed that giving organic fertilizer have influence for growing of Aloe vera plant, organic fertilizer from chicken dirt with dosage 4 kg/plant hole that gave the best influence to changing of leaf width, thick leafs, leaves number, and increasing of plants’ weight.
