Abstract

In every company is required of a control on each charge contained so as to minimize unnecessary expenses, one of them is to create a budget cost, especially the cost of production which is vital in producing the product. Achieving effectiveness in controlling key production costs substantially. The importance of PTPN VII Pagaralam in controlling the production cost effectively because it is related to the continuity of the company tersebut. One of a control that has been done by PTPN VII Pagaralam is to make a budget plan for the cost of production. The results of this research indicated that the cost of production in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII unit Pagaralam was quite adequate.
