Abstract

PT Duta Bara Utama is a mining company with a Mining Business License Area of 1,967 hectares. The company targets production of 2 million tons of coal with SR 3 by 2024. Pit and disposal design, unit requirement planning, and dewatering system planning are required to achieve the production target in 2024. Minescape 5.7 software will be a tool to produce pit and disposal sequence designs, while dewatering calculations use Microsoft excel 2021 software. In 2024, mining operations were carried out in the first quarter, namely in January, February and March. The actual production in the first quarter was found to be 402,665.86 tons of coal and 513,971.39 BCM of overburden. So that the technical design of the sequence in the second, third and fourth quarters is needed to achieve the shortfall in production targets of 1,622,724.40 tons of coal and 5,574,151.39 BCM of overburden with an area of 56.39 hectares. The design in the second quarter has 465,781.50 tons of coal and 1,780,760.78 BCM of overburden, the third quarter has 694,238.64 tons of coal and 2,301,077.93 BCM of overburden, the fourth quarter has 668,197.98 tons of coal and 1,855,059.88 BCM of overburden. The disposal design is designed to accommodate overburden of 6,337,119.49 BCM. Based on the analysis of equipment needs, in 2024 a maximum of 1 unit Hitachi 870 paired with 4 units Sany SKT80S, 1 unit Komatsu PC850 paired with 4 units Sany SKT80S, and 4 units Volvo 480 paired with 8 units Scania P360, 6 units Quester CWE280, and 6 units FT Hino 500 for overburden. Meanwhile, the coal fleet uses 3 units of Volvo 480 paired with 4 units of Quester CWE280 and 8 units of Mitsubishi Fuso. Based on the analysis that has been done, the catchment area is 61 hectares with the largest runoff water discharge in December, which is 29,722.70 m3/day. The recommended sump to overcome water runoff is trapezoidal with a water capacity of 151,625 m3. The number of pumps for drainage needs is 1 unit Multiflo 385 HP (SIS), 1 unit DND-150, 1 unit Armor PM-08, and 1 unit Armor PM-06.
