Abstract

This research was conducted to find out how much it analyzed the influence of Import Income, Gross Domestic Product, and Money Supply on Inflation in ASEAN Countries. The data used is secondary data sourced from the World Bank. The analysis technique in this study uses a panel data analysis method with Fixed Effect Model estimation. The results of this study suggest that the variable Import Value variable has a positive and significant influence on inflation. The increase in the value of imports tends to increase inflationary pressures in ASEAN countries. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) variable has a positive and significant influence on inflation. Economic growth as measured by an increase in GDP tends to drive inflation through an increase in aggregate demand. The variable Money Supply has a negative and significant influence on inflation. An increase in the money supply can lower the inflation rate if the increase in liquidity supports investment and production capacity. In this case, the increase in aggregate supply can offset the increase in demand, thereby suppressing inflation. Keywords: Import Value, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Money Supply, Inflation.
