Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan Metanol berkapasitas 355.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan didirikan pada tahun 2023 berlokasi di Kawasan Industri Sei Mangkei Kecamatan Bosar Maligas Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara dengan luas area 12 Ha. Proses pembuatan Mengacu ini mengacu pada US Patent 9,505,689 B2. Reaksi berlangsung pada reaktor Fluidized Bed dan Fixed Bed Multitube, menggunakan katalis CuO, ZnO, dan Al2O3. Reaksi pada reaktor 01 berlangsung pada temperatur 230oC dengan tekanan 43 atm dan reaksi pada reaktor 02 berlangsung pada temperatur 250˚C dengan tekanan 50 atm. Untuk membangun dan mengoperasikan pabrik ini akan didirikan perusahaan berbentuk perseroan terbatas (PT) yang dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur Utama. Sistem organisasi perusahaan yang dipilih adalah line and staff dengan total karyawan 216 orang. Pabrik pembuatan Metanol ini layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi persyaratan parameter ekonomi sebagai berikut: - Annual Cash Flow : US $ 1,720,618,103.396 - Total Capital Investment (TCI) : US $ 2,970,000,453.115 - Total Production Cost : US $ 1,722,854,068.439 - Selling Price : US$ 3,711,011,492.95 - Net Profit After Tax : US $ 1,491,118,068.383 - Pay Out Time : 1,6 tahun - Rate Of Return On Investment : 59,07% - Break Event Point : 32,384% - Service Life : 11 tahun
