Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menguji secara empiris serta menganalisis pengaruh penghindaran pajak terhadap cost of debt dan juga menguji pengaruh kepemilikan institusional dalam memoderasi hubungan antara penghindaran pajak terhadap cost of debt pada perusahaan infrastruktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2019-2022. Penetapan sampel yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling method dan diperoleh sebanyak 35 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah analisis regresi data panel menggunakan Random Effect Model (REM) serta data diolah menggunakan aplikasi Stata MP 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penghindaran pajak berpengaruh positif terhadap cost of debt,sedangkan kepemilikan institusional baik kepemilikan bank dan lembaga keuangan lainnya dan kepemilikan lembaga non-keuangan sama sama tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh penghindaran pajak terhadap cost of debt.
