Abstract

Upaya memberantas kejahatan terorganisir tidaklah mudah jika whistleblowers/justice collaborator tidak mendapat perlindungan yang memadai dalam menyampaikan informasi yang mereka miliki. Perlindungan bagi whistleblowers/justice collaborators sangat penting karena yang bersangkutan biasanya mengetahui dengan pasti pola kejahatan yang terjadi, siapa-siapa yang terlibat dalam kejahatan tersebut, serta jaringan yang ada. Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban (LPSK) sebagai lembaga yang memberikan perlindungan terhadap whistleblowers/justice collaborators dalam menjalankan tugasnya harus bekerjasama dengan berbagai instansi penegak hukum baik kepolisian, kejaksaan, pengadilan dan lembaga pemasyarakatan. Pelaksanaan perlindungan whistleblower/justice collabolators hanya bisa ditangani secara efektif melalui pendekatan multi lembaga. Skripsi ini membahas tentang perlindungan whistleblower/justice collabolators oleh Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan konsep dan pengaturan, perlindungan bagi whistleblowers/justice collaborator di beberapa negara, peran Lembaga Perlindungan Saksi dan Korban dalam memberikan perlindungan dan penghargaan bagi whistleblowers/justice collaborator, mengetahui bentuk kerjasama LPSK dan komponen sistem peradilan pidana dalam perlindungan whistleblowers/justice collaborator, untuk mengetahui hambatan dan peluang pengaturan mengenai perlindungan whistleblowers/justice collaborator di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan metode yuridis normatif yang kemudian dipaparkan secara deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian berupa perbandingan peraturan perlindungan saksi khususnya whistleblowers/justice collabolator di berbagai negara dan di Indonesia.
