Abstract
The aim of the research was to know the influence of bioremediation of tofii waste liquid and lateks waste by S. platensis on maximum density, growth and specific growth rate of S. platensis, yield of ammonia substrat, decreasing rate of ammonia substrat, Biologycal Oxygen Demand (BOD5), nitrtogen total, fosfat total, and Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD). The research has been herd from January to May 2010 at fishery basi c Laboratory Faculty of agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. The research was used completely randomized design with 3 treatment and 3 replication. The treatment consistes of fertilized (Pl), lateks waste 75% and fertilizer 25% (P2) and tofu waste liquid 100% without fertilizer (P3). The result of this research showed that lateks waste 75% and fertilizer 25% (P2) gave the best influence on maximum density of S. platensis (2,551 g.l'1), decreasing rate of nitrogen and phosphor substrat (1,64 x 1 O'2 g. l’1, day'1 and 9,34 x 10 g.l .day ), BOD5 (89,05%) and COD (70,01%). Meanwhile tofu waste liquid 100% (P3) gave the best influence on decreasing rate of ammonia substrat (3,94 x 10"4 g.l '.day '), growth (8,45 x 10'2 g.l’1.day'1) and specific growth rate (8,23 x 10'2 day'1).
