Abstract
This research aims to investigate and develop a practical and valid product, specifically a 2D video animation learning medium, particularly for deaf students at the Palembang, South Sumatra, Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children. The medium aims to improve the learning process related to basic jumpatan skills. The development method used is the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This research involves validation from three experts, namely material experts, media experts, and language experts. The implementation of this medium was conducted through one-to-one testing and small group testing to obtain a practical, effective, and appropriate product. The results of this research show a high level of validity, with a validation percentage from material experts of (95%), media experts (97.52%), and language experts of (97.5%). This indicates that the 2D animation product is valid for use in the learning of deaf students at the research location. The development of this 2D video animation learning medium aims to present learning materials interactively and encourage active student involvement in the learning process, specifically in the learning of skills and including students with hearing impairments at the Special Education School.
