Abstract

This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of oil palm productivity and poverty in Musi Banyuasin Regency using a spatial approach. Secondary data used in the form of data comparison between 2019 and 2023, covering 15 sub- districts in Musi Banyuasin Regency. Quantitative analysis was carried out using spatial correlation analysis in the form of the Moran index, Moran scatterplot, and LISA (Local Indicator of Spatial Autocorrelation). The results of the Moran Index study of the distribution of oil palm plantation productivity and poverty showed positive spatial autocorrelation and a clustered pattern. The results of the LISA cluster map showed areas that varied in the High-High, High-Low, Low- High, and Low-Low clusters. Of the four quadrants, the indicated ones produced more Low-Low quadrant categories. Then, the results of Morran's Scatter Plot showed that there was a relationship between spatial autocorrelation with a clustered pattern and its autocorrelation was positive in adjacent sub-districts.
