Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of financial inclusion on inflation in 6 Emerging Market countries. The secondary data used is in the form of panel and time series data from 2014 to 2022 involving Indonesia, Brazil, China, India, Mexico, and Turkey. The data in this study uses secondary data sourced from the official website of the World Bank. Quantitative analysis was carried out using panel data regression in the form of a Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results show that all dimensions of financial inclusion have a significant influence on inflation. From this study, it is recommended that especially in Emerging Market countries, such as Indonesia, Brazil, China, India, Turkey, and Mexico, continue to implement financial inclusion strategies evenly to increase liquidity and increase financial access to boost the economy and reduce the inflation rate.
