Abstract

Taxpayers become a necessity done by the community. Efforts to increase taxpayer payments are made by the tax service office in Samsat Ogan Ilir, so that of course it is not separated from the persuasive communication carried out. Through qualitative methods, this research aims to see the persuasive communication strategy that carried out by Samsat Ogan Ilir in increasing taxpayer payment. This study uses the persuasive communication theory by David G Myers (2012:309). Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The result of this research is that the implementation of persuasive communication tax service office in increasing taxpayers in Samsat Ogan Ilir can be said to be optimal, this is seen based on several dimensions that are stated to have a considerable role and the dimensions of message delivery have not been applied to the maximum.
