Abstract
This research is motivated by the increasing interest in South Korean culinary in Indonesia from 2017 to 2019, gastrodiplomacy is known as a diplomatic approach through culinary. This study aims to determine how South Korea's gastrodiplomacy efforts in Indonesia in 2017 to 2019. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data for this study were taken from secondary data sources which were not obtained directly. The theory used in this study is gastrodiplomacy. The research collection technique uses a literature study obtained from several sources such as books, journals, and articles related to the research topic. The validity technique used is the triangulation technique, with data analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study discusses the efforts made by South Korea in Indonesia through its gastrodiplomacy, namely through efforts to promote culinary cultural heritage, communication media, and cooperation with non-state actors. With these efforts, South Korea has succeeded in attracting the attention of the Indonesian people.
