Abstract

Mandarin Chinese has experienced significant growth in recent years, particularly following the introduction of the HSK test for non-native speakers. Launched in 1980, the HSK Standardized Test includes 6 levels of proficiency, with HSK 3 representing a crucial stage in foreign students' learning journeys. This research project aims to support students preparing for the HSK 3 test by creating interactive multimedia materials using the Lectora Inspire application. By enhancing teachers' multimedia skills and implementing a multimedia-based learning approach, the goal is to boost students' performance and motivation for the test. Following the Alessi and Trollip model, the study will assess the needs of students and teachers, develop multimedia content, and conduct validation and evaluation tests to gauge effectiveness. Through this structured approach, the aim is to enhance the learning experience and outcomes for students getting ready for the HSK 3 test. Keywords:Mandarin, HSK 3, Multimedia, Lectora Inspire
