Abstract

The aim of the research was to intended to know the aftect of combination of nitrogen fertilizer and the liquid complementary fertilizers of Morinda citrifolia growth. The research was done at experimental field of the Agricultural Faculty of the University of Sriwijaya, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra started from March up to July 2004. It was a factorial experiment of 4 x 4 arranged in Random ized Completely I Block Design with three replicates each replicate consist of three plants. . The flrst factor was nitrogen application i.e 0 g, 20 g, 30 g and 40 g per plant. The second one was the liquid complementary fertilizer application i.e. 0 g 1, 2 g 1, 3 g 1 and 4 g 1 per plant. Parameters which were observed were high plant (cm), diameter of stem (mm), sum of branch, sum of leaf (piece) and chlorophyll contents. The results showed that combination treatment of nitrogen fertilizer and the liquid complementary fertilizer increased the chlorophyll cotents.
