Abstract

The study entitled “The Effect of Digital Literacy on Wattpad Applications on Learning Interest of Sociology Students Palembang Campus, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences”. This study aims to determine whether or not the development of digital literacy on the Wattpad platform affects the learning interests of Sociology Students 2023 Palembang Campus, Sriwijaya University. Researchers used a type of quantitative research with the entire population of less than 100 as a sample. Data was obtained through a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the form of a google form and additional data was taken from the literature. The validity test uses a Likert scale instrument and the reliability test uses Cronbach alpha. This research uses SPSS version 26 with Pearson product moment correlation data with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study found that there was an influence of the development of wattpad digital literacy on the learning interests of Sociology Students The results of the study showed that there was an influential relationship between the digital literacy of the wattpad application on the learning interests of Palembang Campus Sociology Students, greater than the r table (0.000 > 0.050) which means the nature of the correlation is strong.
