Abstract

This research aims to measure the effectiveness of a government assistance program called Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance. The Indonesian government is implementing this program with the aim of overcoming the poverty that has hit society in the face of the 2019 coronavirus disease pandemic. This research measures the level of effectiveness of the village fund direct cash assistance program using the Effectiveness theory by Sutrisno (2007), namely Target Accuracy, Timeliness, Program Understanding, Goal Achievement, Real Change. This research was conducted as a case study in Banuayu Village, Lubuk Batang District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, South Sumatra Province. The research method used is a qualitative research method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of this research, it can be seen that the effectiveness of direct cash assistance from village funds in Banuayu Village, Lubuk Batang District, Ogan Komering Ulu Regency as a whole has been effective, but the village government must pay more careful attention so that certain aspects do not hinder the implementation of this program and become more good in the future.
