Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, with an increase in cases and victims of violence against children from 2019 to 2021, there are negative impacts from pandemic conditions, one of which is online child sexual exploitation. In the face of this situation, ECPAT Indonesia needs to take strategic steps to tackle the risks and impacts of online child sexual exploitation that focus on strengthening the child protection system, advocating for better policies, increasing public awareness, and providing direct support to victims. this research relies entirely on the literature study method or library research. In overcoming child sexual exploitation that occurs online, ECPAT collaborates with various organizations ranging from the government, private sector and digital platforms to help deal with the problem of child sexual exploitation during the COVID-19 pandemic. ECPAT uses internet platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to share information and promote public awareness about online sexual exploitation and collaborates with various organizations ranging from the government, private sector, and digital platforms to deal with child sexual exploitation during the COVID-19 pandemic.
