Abstract

Pengobatan yang baik berpengaruh pada tingkat pengetahuan, kepatuhan minum obat penurun kadar kolesterol dan kualitas hidup pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat kepatuhan minum obat dengan kualitas hidup pasien hiperkolesterolemia di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Palembang. Desain penelitian dilakukan secara observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional pada 50 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data pasien dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Health Survey (SF-36) dan Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS-8). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan hubungan yang cukup antara tingkat kepatuhan minum obat penurun kadar kolesterol terhadap kualitas hidup pasien hiperkolesterolemia di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Palembang dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,28. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan bernilai positif dan searah. Berdasarkan output uji korelasi kendall’s tau-b nilai signifikan sebesar 0,36 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kepatuhan minum obat dengan kualitas hidup pasien hiperkolesterolemia di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Khadijah Palembang.
