Abstract

This study aims to define the relationship between negative thinking and thesis anxiety in student of medical faculty Sriwijaya University. The hypothesis of this research is there is a relationship between negative thinking and thesis anxiety in student of medical Faculty Sriwijaya University The subject were the medical student of Sriwijaya University in working on thesis amounted to 114 people, used technique of sampling purposive . The scale was measured by negative thinking scale and anxieny scale. The result were analyzed by using pearson product moment. The result of hypothesis testing shows a significant relationship between negatif thinking and thesis anxiety in student of medical faculty Sriwijaya University. The coefficient of pearson correlation used are 0,767 and p=0.000 (p<0.05). So, the hypothesis of this study is accepted.
