Abstract
Low Back Pain is a pain localized in lower part of backbone between the ribs and the coccyx which may spread out to the other area and caused by body activity when working in a non-ergonomical position. This study aimed to some factors related to Low Back Pain at meubel worker in Sukarami Palembang 2018. This is a cross-sectional study which was done at 35 respondens, and sampels were collected using total sampling technique. The result of the study showed that 22 of 35 respondens (62,9%) were founded to suffer for lower back pain, bivariate analysis using Chi-Square test showed that there is significant relation among sport activity (p= 0,012), working period (p= 0,004), and sitting position (0,020), and there is no significant relation among age (p= 1,000), body mass index (p= 0,680), and working duration (p= 1,000) at meubel worker in Sukarami Palembang 2018. The risk of lower back pain, the worker were suggested having muscle relaxation for minimally 30 minutes and doing sport for ≥ 30 minutes in > 2 times a week, consuming 8 glasses (2 liters) mineral waters and healty food, as well as being in an appropriate sitting position and using an ergonomical chair for working.
