Abstract

The research objective was to determine the role of perceived organizational support (pos) toward job satisfaction on employee in retail company (x) Palembang. The study hypothesis that perceived organizational support (POS)has a role to job satisfaction on employee in retail company (x) Palembang. The study population was employee in retail company (x) Palembang totaling 81 employees. The research sample used 81 employees and to try out used 40 employees, used non-probability sampling is saturated sampling. Perceived organizational support (POS) and job satisfaction was measured by the scale of perceived organizational support (POS) and job satisfaction, with reference to the aspects of perceived organizational support (POS) from Rhoades dan Eisenberger (2002) and dimensions of job satisfaction from Luthans (2011). Data analysis using simple regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis obtained by value of R Square = 0,465 dan α = 0,000 (α≤0,05). It shows that perceived organizational support (POS) has significant role to job satisfaction. The results of this study proved that perceived organizational support (POS) can improve job satisfaction on employee in retail company (x) Palembang. This hypothesis is accepted..
