Abstract
The objectives of this research was to find kind of organic fertilizer and NPK dosage that was able to give the best effect on growth and yield of mungbean. This research was carried out from February through May 2017 at Experimental Station of Agricultural Faculty, Sriwijaya University. The method used was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 7 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were 100 % of NPK fertilizer (P1), 20 ton ha-1 gliricidia leave compost + 50% of NPK fertilizer (P2), 20 ton ha-1 gliricidia leave compost + 100% of NPK fertilizer (P3), 20 ton ha-1 leucaena leave compost + 50% of NPK fertilizer (P4), 20 ton ha-1 + 100% of NPK fertilizer (P5), 20 ton ha-1 of chicken manure + 50% of NPK fertilizer (P6) and 20 ton ha-1 of chicken manure + 100% of NPK fertilizer. The results showed that the combination of organic and inorganic fertilizer was better than 100% of inorganic fertilizer. 20 ton ha-1 of chicken manure + 100% of NPK fertilizer give the best yield of mungbean.
