Abstract

This research aims to effect of Bioinsecticide applications with active ingredient of B. bassiana (Bals.) against insect pests and rice production on paddy ratoon in tidal land. This research method using the method of direct observation in different 3 paddy ratoon fields applied by Beauveria bassiana bioinsecticide. The results showed 10 species of insect pests found in the center paddy ratoon of tidal land, Banyuasin, South Sumatera. The insect pest species are Nilavarpata lugens, Recilia dorsalis, Nephotettix virescens, Nephotettix nigropictus, Nephotettix malayamus, Ciccadulina bipunctata, Cofana spectra, Leptocorisa acuta, Cnaplocrosis medinalis, Chilo suppressalis. Insect pest populations predominantly found are 252 planthoppers (R. dorsalis) and 189 leafhoppers (C. Bipunctata). The percentage of the dominant pests observations are 0.402% of Rice Leafroller (C. medinalis) and 0.38% of rice bugs (L. acuta) of. The average yield of dry grain production on reasearch field was 65.54 kg / ha.
