Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate population of Doleschallia sp as natural enemy of weed of Asyslasia sp in plantation of Coconout Palm and it’s potency ARIA NUGRAHA NATANEGARA. of parasitoid. This research was conducted in Sembawa village, Banyuasin distric and in Entomology Laboratory Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Agricultural Faculty, Sriwijaya University, started from November 2007 up to January 2008. The method used was experiment method with population of larvae t^ken from fields and parasitoid which emerged. The result of research showed that the highest population of Doleschallia sp.. larvae was 1.6 larvae/treatment. Parasitoid found was identified as Tachinidae family. This adult of parasitoid emerged from host pupal stadium. The parasitization is 12.5 with the highest of parasitization was 30 percent.
