Abstract
Toxicity Of Fungi Metarhizium sp. Of several material carrier at Brown Planthoper (Homoptera: Delphacidae) (Supervised by EFFENDY TA and TRIANI ADAM). The research was to know kind of efective substrat to manage Nilaparvata lugens pest. The research was conducted in laboratory of entomologi . department of plant pest and disease Agriculture Facult Sriwijaya University from April to Desember 2008. the research was used experiment methode with percipitate complete stake with Metarhizium sp. isolate that isolate was saved in four kind substrat, there are chaff ash, fie soil bran powder and maize powder was store 40 days with temperature 26°C and than was aplicated on nimph third instar Nilaparvata lugens as mush as lOpm with coloni from unite (cfu) 107 conidia/ml with three replications. Morfology of Nilaparvata lugens nimph that infected was showed symioms that decrease moving and eating. On nimph body that infected Metarhizium sp. will blanketed white greenning hyfa and was become mummy (mummyfication). The result showed that high mortality on powder dedak treatment was (55%). Every kind bioinsektisida substrat was rate of LT5o and result showed that rate of LT50 was 92,33 hours to bioinsectiside formulation with Metarhizium sp. was production in chaff ash. After the research were done we know that Metarhizium sp. formulated was effective to manage and kill Nilaparvata lugens nimph with LT50 bioinseticide Metarhizium sp. formulation in chaff as substrate.
