Abstract
This research was carried out in the laboratory of Bacteriology Department of Plant Pests and diseases, Faculty of agriculture, University of Sriwijaya, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir Campus, South Sumatra, which was carried out in June 2012 to September 2012. The purpose of the research is to analyze the influence of vegetable powders of repelensi C. chinensis, and its effects on the population of c. chinensis, as well as a percentage of the weight of green beans. Observations were made to the thrust (repelen), population C. chinensis and the percentage weighting reduced green beans. The results showed that chili powder has a very strong power repelen with index repelensi (0.93) and ginger powder (0.82), kaffir lime powder, galingale is a powder and repelensi are powerful because of each (0.78) and (0.77). The population of larva pupa powder is found in the highest imago kaffir lime which 1,46 tail. The highest percentage of weight loss was found in pollen kencur 8.75%, while the lowest on the chili powder 1.58%. The highest attack rate found at galanga 16.00%, while the lowest at chili 3.00%. Based on the testing, some materials test against the development of populations of C. chinensis, chili powder is able to suppress the population development of larva, pupa and imago. Weights in percentages exsiccate the lowest chilli of 5.00 % rate 3.00 % of attacks.
