Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the size of the sharia supervisory board, expertise of the sharia supervisory board, sharia supervisory board meetings, audit ecommittee expertise, and CEO duality on sharia corporate governance. Stewardship theory is used as the main thinking framework. The secondary data used was obtained from the annual reports on the respective sharia banking in Indonesia, Malaysia. and Bahrain in 2013-2022, the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique by obtained the samples were 15 banks and research period during 10 years so that the number of observation in this research was 150. Results Research showed that the size of the sharia supervisory board, the size of the audit committee, and the expertise of the auidt comittee did not influence sharia corporate governance, while the expertise of the sharia supervisory board, sharia supervisory board meetings, and CEO duality has influence to sharia corporate governance.
