Abstract

Fungus S. rolfsii was any of soil borne that attack pepper in a sedbed. In reducing attack of a disease fall sprouts is clearly necessary control , one of them the use of fertilizer compost. Research was conducted at shadow home and laboratory of Phytopathology Plant Pests and Diseases Departement of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Srwijaya Indralaya. Research began in November 2015 until Oktober 2016. Purpose of the research was how to fertilizer compost pressing influence fungi S. rolfsii the cause of a disease fall sprouts in plants situation in a seedbed and know whether fertilizer compost mixed S . rolfsii can affect the growth of plants chili when there a seedbed. Research used randomized block desain (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment used consisted of control , soil + compost + sklerotia 10 grain, soil + compost + sklerotia 15 grain, soil + compost + sklerotia 20 grain, soil + compost + sklerotia 25 grain and soil + compost + sklerotia 30 grain. Provision of compost fertilizer did not provide a real effect on the attack of S. rolfsii fungi.
