Abstract
Currently, the operation of mobile robots faces major challenges due to the absence of an adequate monitoring system. This results in the inability to monitor the position and operational status of mobile robots in realtime, potentially reducing operational efficiency and effectiveness. This research aims to design and develop a monitoring system capable of tracking the position and operational status of mobile robots in real-time. The main objective of this research is to improve operational efficiency by integrating the monitoring system into existing mobile robots, while ensuring that the generated data can be processed and displayed in an easily accessible and interpretable manner. The methodology includes the development of a monitoring system based on a graphical user interface (GUI) and object detection using YOLO (You Only Look Once). Testing was conducted in two environments: outdoor and indoor. In outdoor testing, the GUI-based monitoring system successfully displayed the robot's position on a map interface and its real-time orientation, demonstrating good performance on the mobile robot. In indoor testing, the monitoring system integrating YOLO for color and object detection was able to accurately identify mobile robots based on the collected dataset. The research results indicate that the developed monitoring system can effectively provide real-time data and enhance the operational efficiency of mobile robots. The integration of GUI and YOLO in the monitoring system shows good detection and monitoring capabilities, significantly improving data interpretation and operational performance.
