Abstract
Hypertension is when the blood pressure of a person aged ≥ 18 years is measured systolic ≥ 140 and diastolic ≥ 90mmHg. Hypertension is one of the risk factors for stroke. Hemorrhagic stroke is the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in Indonesia, it is estimated that about 20-30% of all stroke cases in Indonesia. Swedish massage is an easy-to-do alternative to stabilize hemodynamics. However, many people are not familiar with this therapy. SMT provides stimulation and then causes a relaxation / muscle relaxation effect so that it can facilitate blood flow so that it can reduce blood pressure stably. Application of nursing care in cerebrovascular accindet (CVA) patients post craniotomy with Swedish massage interventions using olive oil. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a case study approach. The most important nursing problem in the three case management patients is a decrease in intracranial adaptive capacity. Evaluation monitoring for 3 days was given swedia massage for 20 minutes and 30 minutes monitoring. In the three managed patients (Mrs. S, Mr. R, and Mr. D) the difference in hemodynamic parameters decreased by systole 8.22 mmHg, diastole 5.6 mmHg, MAP 6 mmHg, and pulse 0.22x/min. In addition, there was an increase in GCS E2M3VT to E3M3VT in Mr. R and a decrease in pain scale from 3 to 3. R and a decrease in pain scale from 3 to 1 in Mr. R. Therefore, it can be concluded that Swedish massage is useful for stabilizing hemodynamic parameters (blood pressure, MAP, and pulse), increasing GCS, and reducing pain.
