Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peningkatan kekuatan tegangan tembus pada kertas kraft yang diimpregnasi minyak jagung berpengisi campuran TiO2 dan CQD dengan konsentrasi total 0,01 wt%. Kertas kraft yang akan digunakan dipotong berukuran 30mm x 30mm. Sampel kertas kraft dibuat dalam dua kelompok, pertama sampel diimpregnasi dalam minyak jagung berpengisi TiO2 dan CQD, dan kedua sampel diimpregnasi dalam minyak jagung tanpa pengisi TiO2 dan CQD sebagai kontrol. Impregnasi dilakukan dengan variasi waktu 24, 48, 72, 96, dan 120 jam. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan elektroda jarum-piring dengan jarak sela sebesar 1 mm. Tegangan tinggi bolak-balik yang diaplikasikan dinaikkan dengan laju kenaikkan 100 V/s. Hasil pengukuran menunjukkan bahwa PDIV dan Vbd untuk sampel yang diimpregnasi dalam minyak jagung berpengisi TiO2 dan CQD lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan PDIV dan Vbd tanpa pengisi. Persentase kenaikkan kekuatan sampel dalam menahan tembus insepsi antara sampel kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan untuk masing-masing variasi waktu adalah sebesar 13,434%; 7,693%; 5,217%; 3,694%; dan 7,106%. Persentase kenaikkan kekuatan sampel dalam menahan tembus sempurna antara sampel kontrol dengan kelompok perlakuan untuk masing-masing variasi waktu adalah sebesar 9,192%; 6,274%; 6,135%; 5,616%; 6,669%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan bahan pengisi TiO2 dan CQD dapat meningkatkan nilai PDIV dan Vbd. This experiment discusses the increase in the breakdown tension strength of corn oil-impregnated kraft paper filled with a mixture of TiO2 and CQD with a total concentration of 0.01 wt%. The kraft paper to be used was cut into 30mm x 30mm size. Kraft paper samples were made in two groups, first samples were impregnated in corn oil filled with TiO2 and CQD, and second samples were impregnated in corn oil without TiO2 and CQD fillers as control. Impregnation was carried out with time variations of 24, 48, 72, 96, and 120 hours. The test was conducted using a needle-plate electrode with an intermediate distance of 1 mm. The applied alternating high voltage was increased at a rate of 100 V/s. The measurement results showed that the PDIV and Vbd for samples impregnated in corn oil with TiO2 and CQD were higher than the PDIV and Vbd without fillers. The percentage increase in the strength of the samples to resist penetration between the control and treatment groups for each time variation was 13.434%; 7.693%; 5.217%; 3.694%; and 7.106%, respectively. The percentage increase in the strength of the sample to resist complete penetration between the control sample and the treatment group for each time variation is 9.192%; 6.274%; 6.135%; 5.616%; 6.669%. These results indicate that the addition of TiO2 and CQD fillers can increase the PDIV and Vbd values.
