Abstract
Kata Kunci: Asuhan Keperawatan, Mobilisasi Dini, Nyeri Akut, Sectio caesareaBackground: Sectio caesarea (SC) is a surgical procedure to remove the fetus through an incision or action on the uterine wall and abdomen, on condition that the fetus is healthy and weighs more than 500 grams. In the SC procedure, the surgical procedure is an intrauterine incision (laparotomy operation) which is planned or scheduled as an emergency by removing the baby from the uterus, which can cause pain after a cesarean section. Post section caesarean pain can be reduced through non-pharmacological therapies, one of which is early mobilization. Objective: To provide nursing care to post caesarean section patients by providing early mobilization exercises. Method: The method used was qualitative research with a case study approach to three post caesarean section patients. Discussion: The results of the study showed that the main complaint experienced by the three patients was acute pain. Early mobilization was given as a non-pharmacological intervention to reduce the pain scale. There was a decrease in the pain scale after early mobilization exercises were given. Early mobilization has a therapeutic effect, that is by reducing the diameter of nerve conduction which finally will reduce the perception of pain, the inflammatory response in the tissue, blood flow, and edema. Conclusion: Early mobilization exercises are effective in reducing pain scale experienced by post caesarean section patients. it is hoped that more hospitals will use early mobilization exercises as a non-pharmacological intervention to overcome acute pain nursing problem. Early mobilization reduces inflammatory mediators which activate and sensitize pain nerve endings to reduce the perceived pain. There was a decrease in the pain scale from severe pain to mild pain.
