Abstract

Pengolahan semen menaikan polusi CO2 hingga 6%, sehingga menimbulkan inovasi untuk mempergunakan Fly ash karena mampu menjadi material penambah dengan kualitas beton yang baik. Produksi beton menggunakan Batching Plant membutuhkan biaya investasi yang besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa kelayakan investasi finansial untuk membangun batching plant yang mengolah beton campuran fly ash dan membandingkan dengan beton konvensional tanpa fly ash di Kota Palembang. Kajian menunjukkan nilai NPV>0,IRR>9%, dan BCR>1, yang berarti kedua investasi ini layak. Namun payback period beton konvensional 3 tahun sedangkan beton dengan fly ash 3,5 tahun. BEP beton konvensional dan beton fly ash mencapai titik impas pada tahun ke-8. Pada tahun ke-10 produksi beton fly ash mendapatkan surplus yang signifikan. Aspek lingkungan menunjukkan bahwa limbah beton menggunakan fly ash aman karena mampu mengurangi penggunaan semen hingga 55%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa menambahkan fly ash menurunkan biaya bahan baku. Investasi ini dinyatakan layak dari aspek finansial karena berpotensi mendapatkan benefit.
