Abstract

Penelitian ini mempelajari pengaruh rongga udara (void) dalam isolasi epoxy resin terhadap karakteristik partial discharge (PD). Pengujian dilakukan pada sampel epoxy resin multilayer dengan ketebalan masing-masing lembaran ±0,35 mm dan ketebalan total ±1,05 mm dimana pada bagian tengah sampel diberikan artificial void masing-masing lembar sampel, dengan volume void total 27,49mm3. Tegangan tinggi yang diaplikasikan dinaikan dengan laju kenaikan 100 V/s. Perekeman data PD dilakukan selama 50 detik (2500 gelombang), parameter PD yang akan diambil yaitu jumlah PD, sudut phasa, dan muatan PD (n, p, q). Pengujian sampel epoxy resin dilakukan menggunakan elektroda piring-piring dengan diameter elektroda tegangan tinggi 4 cm dan elektroda grounding berdiameter 5,5 cm, sampel epoxy resin multilayer diletakan diantara kedua elektroda tanpa adanya jarak celah dan saat pengukuran berlangsung dilakukan peningkatan nilai tegangan sebesar 1,1; 1,2; dan 1,3; terhadap nilai tegangan saat PDIV. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan semakin besar tegangan maka jumlah PD yang didapatkan semakin besar, bertambahnya jumlah PD juga terjadi dengan bertambahnya jumlah void pada sampel, peningkatan jumlah PD diringi dengan semakin mengecilnya sudut fasa dan meningkatnya arus peluahan yang terjadi. This research studies the effect of air voids in epoxy resin insulation on partial discharge (PD) characteristics. Tests were carried out on multilayer epoxy resin samples with a thickness of ±0.35 mm each sheet and a total thickness of ±1.05 mm where in the center of the sample artificial voids were given to each sample sheet, with a total void volume of 27.49mm3. The applied high voltage was increased at a rate of 100 V/s. PD data recording is carried out for 50 seconds (2500 waves), the PD parameters to be taken are the number of PD, phase angle, and PD charge (n, p, q). Testing of epoxy resin samples was carried out using plate-plate electrodes with a diameter of 4 cm high-voltage electrodes and 5.5 cm diameter grounding electrodes, multilayer epoxy resin samples were placed between the two electrodes without any gap and during the measurement, the voltage value was increased by 1.1; 1.2; and 1.3; to the voltage value at PDIV. The measurement results show that the greater the voltage, the greater the number of PDs obtained, the increase in the number of PDs also occurs with the increase in the number of voids in the sample, the increase in the number of PDs is accompanied by a decreasing phase angle and an increase in the discharge current that occurs.
