Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between perceived social support and organizational commitment among Generation Z workers. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between perceived social support and organizational commitment among Generation Z workers. The population of this study consists of Generation Z individuals who are currently employed. The sample size for this study is 117 Generation Z workers, with 31 respondents included in the pilot test (try-out). The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. This study uses measurement tools based on the dimensions of organizational commitment from Mowdays, Porter, and Steers (1979), with a reliability value of 0.888, and the dimensions of perceived social support from Brown, Brady, Lent, Wolfert, and Hall (1987), with a reliability value of 0.940. The data analysis in this study uses the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique.Based on the results of the Pearson Product Moment correlation, the significance value is 0.000 (p < 0.05) and the R Squared value is 0.516. This indicates that there is a significant relationship between perceived social support and organizational commitment, and thus the hypothesis in this study is accepted
