Abstract
Grounding system or is a system that connects electrical current conductors that connect electrical systems, equipment, installations and are connected to the earth so that in the event of a current leakage they can protect humans from electric shock, and secure the components of the installation components from the danger of abnormal voltage and current. Ideal grounding has a resitance value close to zero, (PUIL 2000) between 0 s/d 5 Ohm Method used in measurement of grounding systems This time it is a 3-point method (three-point method). has the purpose of measuring the ground resistance which is measured in the morning can be seen a decrease in resistance at electrode 2 by 27.587%, a decrease at electrode 3 by 45.723% and at electrode 4 by 44.018%. During the day you can see a decrease in resistance at electrode 2 by 26.22%, a decrease in electrode 3 by 46.981% and at electrode 4 by 44.549%. In the afternoon you can see a decrease in the resitance at electrode 2 by 26.22%. electrode 2 by 26.218%, decrease at electrode 3 by 44.885% and at electrode 4 by 44,039%. The greatest decrease in resistance occurred in Electrode 3 with a mixture of 80% coconut fibers, this can be achieved because the coconut fiber itself has properties that can hold water 3 times than the weight of the coconut fiber itself.
