Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between perceived compensation and work discipline in teachers with honorarium pay of public high school X. The hypothesis predicts that there is a relationship between perception of compensation and work discipline in teachers with honorarium pay of public high school X. The population of this study is 105 teachers with honorarium pay who worked in public high school X and uses population study as a way to determine sample size. Perceived compensation is measured with perception scale adapted from Walgito (2010) and linked with the principle of compensation by Priansa (2014) dan work discipline by Hasibuan (2016). Datas are analysed with correlation. The result of the correlation analysis is the significancy of 0,0000 and a correlation score of 0,714. This shows that perceived compensation has a positive correlation with work discipline. Thus, the hypothesis is accepted.
