Abstract
Pabrik pembuatan vinil asetat monomer dengan kapasitas 20.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2030 di di Kabupaten Kendal, Jawa Tengah, Indonesia dengan luas area sebesar 10 Ha. Bahan baku pembuatan vinil asetat monomer adalah oksigen, etana dan asam asetat. Proses pembutan vinil asetat monomer dalam pra-rancangan ini mengacu pada Patent No. US 2021/0040018 A1 dengan proses reaksi oksidatif dehidrogenasi etana. Reaktor yang digunakan dalam proses pembuatan produk vinil asetat monomer adalah Fixed Catalyst Bed Reactor. Pabrik pembuatan vinil asetat monomer ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan menggunakan sistem organisasi Line and Staff, jumlah karyawan yang bekerja yaitu 135 orang yang dipimpin oleh satu Direktur utama. Bersasarkan analisis ekonomi yang telah dilakukan, pabrik vinil asetat monomer ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter eknomi sebagai berikut: Total Capital Investment US$ 162.325.183,43, Selling Price per Year US$ 260.307.960,65, Total Production Cost US$ 151.138.786,03, Annual Cash Flow US$ 97.695.265,83, Pay Out Time 1,8260 tahun, Rate of Return 52,4576%, Discounted Cash Flow 59,68%, Break Even Point 36,25%, Service Life 11 tahun.
