Abstract

The aim of this research was to design of OPI Pond Retention Jakabaring Park at 15 Ulu Village Jakabaring, Palembang City, South Sumatera. The research was conducted in December 2017 to February 2018. The function of the park is for recreation, socialization and sports. Research method utilized field observation and interview with the owner of the location. This research include 1) inventory, 2) analysis, 3) synthesis concept, 4) planing and design and 5) Design. Result of this research is a design of OPI Pond Retention Jakabaring Park is a concept facilities for recreation, socialized and exercise. The design concept applied to the OPI Pond Retention Jakabaring Park is a seasonal garden with many different flowering tree species in each zone a sports park with various sports facilities and infrastructure, and contemporary architectural concepts on park hardening design. Total budget required to establish the park is about Rp. 8,679,772,869.00.
